If you wear a mask, then you must know how put it on, use it correctly and remove it properly. Otherwise it can do more harm than good.
Wearing a mask: Before putting on a mask, make sure to thoroughly clean your hands. Also avoid touching the FRONT of the mask while wearing it. If you do touch the front of the mask, clean your hands with soap and water or alcohol based sanitizer. Once you have the mask on, leave it there and try not to touch it or adjust it.
Removing the mask: Do not touch the front of the mask. Only touch the ear loops, ties or band. Also be careful not to touch your eyes, nose or mouth while taking the mask off. To remove the mask: remove it from behind (do not touch the front of mask) place in a container to take it to the laundry. Then clean your hands with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water.
Cleaning the mask: Wash your cloth face covering after each use, or at least daily. You can wash face coverings in the washing machine with detergent, hot water and dry on a hot cycle.
